Located in the 33-storey building, ground floor, in the city of Maputo, the BVM Library has played an essential role in promoting economic and financial literacy in Mozambique.

The creation of the BVM Library is part of BVM's broader strategy to promote financial inclusion and the development of the capital market in the country. The library offers a specialized collection, accessible to BVM, SA employees, but also to students, researchers, professionals in the financial sector and the general public, from 8:30 am to 3:30 pm, without interruption, from Monday to Friday, in working days of the week.

It aims to promote the dissemination of knowledge in the following thematic areas: Finance, Capital Markets, Stock Exchange, Securities Markets, Monetary Markets, Accounting, Human Resources Management, Communication and Marketing, Economics, Management, Development Economics , Financial Auditing, Law, Social Sciences, among others.

One of the highlights of the BVM Library over the two years of its existence is the holding of the section "Conversations with the PCA of BVM, SA", a series of regular dialogues between the PCA of BVM, SA, Salim Cripton Valá, and students from Universities , Institutes and Schools in the country. This program has been a platform to promote dialogue between BVM and young students and teachers, allowing them to gain a deeper understanding of the role of the Capital Market, Stock Exchange, Financial Markets in the economy of Mozambique, as well as challenges of challenges and opportunities that this sector presents.

The PCA of BVM, SA, has used these "Conversations" sessions as a way to inspire and motivate a new generation of students and future professionals, sharing their experiences and providing insights into the importance of financial literacy and the relevance of the financial system in the development of the economy and the country. This direct interaction with students and teachers reinforces BVM, SA's commitment to fostering a more informed and capable society to make responsible financial decisions, in addition to promoting greater participation of young students in the capital market.

In addition to "Conversations with the PCA", the BVM Library offers a diverse set of resources that include books, stock market performance reports, brochures, magazines, specialized financial documents and many other types of documents, thus strengthening its relevance as a central research and instrument to promote financial education. The library has been inaugurated as a space for sharing knowledge, where essential topics such as the role of Stock Exchanges in financing the economy and global trends in capital markets are discussed.

“After two years of operation of the BVM Library, SA, we want to reaffirm its central role in promoting financial literacy on the Capital Market and the Stock Exchange, and we commit to doing everything so that it serves as a vital resource for the promotion of economic education and financial inclusion in the country”, highlighted the PCA of BVM, SA, Salim Cripton Valá.
